Here Inside My Mind
Phantom:
Sing once again with me
Our strange duet
My power over you
Grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me
to glance behind
The phantom of the opera is there
Inside your mind
Sweet and melancholy Phantom is my tribute to a favorite musical. He is a Halloween bunny in search of love. His little trick or treat pail is a broken heart and he stands ready to surrender his rose for someone to love. He will be available on ebay, Monday 9-28 through 10-5.

Monster Mash
Here is a little group of Halloween friends getting ready for a monster mash. Some are still waiting on costumes and others are just about ready to visit the shop. They all need their accessories, though, so I will be having some fun with clay today. You guessed it, I make all those little accessories by hand, too. I tell myself that making things from scratch gives my creations a little something special.... like Grandma's homemade angel biscuits. Nothing compared to those sweet buttery biscuits that she lovingly made from scratch. So, it may take me longer to finish my little creations, but I hope they are worth the wait.

Well Travelled
Recently, one of my little beach buns accompanied her new family on a vacation to Hawaii.... lucky ducky! It was such a treat for me to see some pics of her adventures that I thought I would share some with you. So, compliments of my friend from flickr.... Wyld_hare (her photostream), here is Lily (beach bun) with her dragon floatie, Nessie. If any of you have some candid shots of your lollihops creations, please let me know. I'd love to see my babies in their new environments!
Here she is ready for a kayaking lesson it seems. Isn't she stylish with her matching kayak?
Of course she was ready to hit the beach, lava rocks and all! Thanks so much for sharing your fun adventures with me Jane. I have been enjoying the ongoing story of Lily and Nessie!

Skelly Cat
Well, here she is, my Halloween Skelly Cat and silly orb pincushion. You can see her in all of her eye-popping glory on ebay. Click Here to visit Skelly
May she make you grin and take away your worries, if for just a moment.

Scaredy Cat Lurking in Back
Getting My Feet Wet
It's been a long, hot summer and not a drop of rain. We finally had a glorious thunderstorm roll in and I can feel a change of season is in the air. This conveniently coincided with my blog debut. I have fussed for months over the “look” of a new blog, waffling from one design to another (an avoidance tactic to this strange new task, no doubt). I finally decided to just jump in and get my feet wet..... so, here goes!
My name is Linda Coker, the designer and artist of Lollihops creations. I create just about any kind of creature out there and I love using natural fibers, especially wool and mohair. It has been a tremendous honor to create and share my work with people all over the world. I offer this blog as a place to stir up ideas, share what inspires me, and to give you some preview into what I'm working on. Thanks so much for joining me. I look forward to meeting you!
